March Favourites

Hello! March was such a good month. I feel like a did a lot this month which is always good. But despite my busy-ness and all the excitement I did some shopping, bought some cosmetics which I tried and went on the internet. Yay!

Likes:

Lush Pink Bath Bomb. This made for such an enjoyable bath. When I first smelled it, I was a little turned off because it was such a strong smell but once I popped in the bath it made for such a delicious scent. It smelled very sweet and girly. Plus it had little rice paper heart confetti in the middle of it. My only problem with it is that it did stain the tub the slightest bit.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails with Nylon Nail Polish in Simply Strawberry. I wore this colour for the first half of the month and quite liked it. It's a very girly shimmer-y pink colour that I'd say resembles frosty pink lipstick.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Colour in Mint Sorbet. I am currently wearing this colour and I love it!

Herbal Essences Long Lasting Relationship Conditioner. This stuff smells incredible and it feels really creamy and moisturizing.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Colour in Invisible. I needed a new base/top coat but rather I got this clear nail polish. I put this underneath and over top the Mint Sorbet and it has lasted so well.

While we're on the topic of nails... One thing I really loved this month was the fact that I pretty much just quit picking my nails about a week and a half ago and though my nails really aren't long yet they feel very long to me.

Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencil in Ginger Flame. I wore this stuff so much this month, it's ridiculous. It is such a perfect light pink/champagne colour and has such a great texture.

Body Drench Lip Drench Moisturizing Lip Balm in Grapefruit. A family member gave this to me as part of a gift set of body stuff and I've used it pretty much everyday since.

Frozen. I just watched it the other day and I loved it just like everybody else.

Time & Again Sweet Vanilla Grapefruit Candle.

Rings. I used to find rings kind of annoying but I tried wearing some more and also bought a few more this month and I've decided I really liked wearing them, especially now that my nails are looking a little better than usual.

Fake Flowers. I finally got around to buying some fake flowers and I'm in love with them. They brighten up my room so much.

The Last Days of Vacation

Here are some of pictures of my last few days of vacation:

I went with my family for a gorgeous afternoon tea that including vegetarian sandwiches, a mini quiche, fruit, various pastries and delicacies (like cookies, rolls, truffles, cakes, macarons and florentines) and of course, tea. Yummy yummy.

The next day we didn't really do much, but I did go for a walk in the sunshine with some family members at the local marina/yacht club.

Later that night, we went to the same marina, but for supper at the restaurant. I unfortunately didn't take any pictures of the food as I felt that whipping out my camera may be slightly impolite and looked down upon, but as we were walking back to the car there was a little sunset which I did capture.

I hope you enjoyed all the recent photo posts. I really enjoy reading these type of posts and I hope to do more of these in the future.

Spring Break Vacay (Part 2): Flowers, Ocean Views and Downtown Adventures

As you may or may not know, I was on vacation in one of my favourite cities and snapped a few pics for your viewing pleasure. (Psssttt... If you want to see more pictures click here. )

Coffee and Tiramisu flavoured macarons. Yummy!
I popped into a floral shop just to take pictures of all the pretty flowers. #nerdlyfe

I then went for a wander through a swanky, downtown hotel's garden because, yeah you guessed it, there were pretty cherry blossoms.

Lunchtime! Mmmmmm.

I ended the day with a jog to the beach with my cousin where it sunny and gorgeous. Have a happy Tuesday!

Spring Break Vacay: Part 1

As some of you may know, I'm in the midst of a glorious two week Spring Break. I was on vacation for  the first week of the break and took some snaps during my adventures that I thought I'd share with ya'll.

For vacation, I was in one of my favourite cities, which is especially pretty at this time of year when everything is blooming and the cherry blossoms are out. I wandered around the cherry blossom lined streets and looked at the old, brick buildings. I had tea and macarons at my favourite tea room. I went for jogs and walks to the sea, which were unfortunately never sunny. And I had a vanilla latte in one of my favourite coffee shops on a rather sunny morning. Because it was so nice out, I not only got to drink my coffee outside but also amongst a garden as the coffee shop also sells plants (so cool). All the flowers were so pretty and bright and were just brought to life in the sunshine. Also, while I was sitting there this tiny bird came like two inches away from my feet. So cute!

I hope you enjoyed these pictures as there are more to come. What are you all up to for your spring break?
