After washing, toning and moisturizing my face, I start of by using Covergirl's Clean Whipped Creme Foundation in #305. If I'm really short on time I just use this over any blemishes and under my eyes as more of a concealer, but if I have more time I use it as more of foundation to even out my entire face. I usually just use my hands to apply but occasionally I have used a damp makeup sponge and that's worked just as well.
Next, I brush Rimmel London's Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in #003 Natural with my big, fluffy brush to even out any places I've missed and lock in my foundation for the day.
Extra tip: I find that sometimes this pressed powder likes to attach to flaky, dry bits of skin. Not pretty. So after I finish my makeup and I notice this has occurred, I will put more moisturizer over my entire face to make it look more natural and get rid of any gross, dry patches. If I also happen to have a bit more time I will brush New York Color's Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder in #725A Rose Glow on my cheeks. I naturally have quite pink skin so I rarely use blush but this is a very light peachy-pink colour that just adds a bit of colour to my skin.
After my skin becomes blemish-free and glowing, I quickly line my eyes with New York Color's Kohl Brow/Eyeliner Pencil in #922 Dark Brown. If I happen to have a bit more time, I've been using Covergirl's Flamed Out Shadow Pencil in Ginger Flame and using it all over my lids. I then make my eyelashes voluminous, dark and long with Covergirl's Professional All-in-One Mascara in Black.
By this point, I should usually already be out the door and I just put on whatever lip balm I have sitting around, which lately has been the grapefruit-flavoured no-name brand one that is pictured.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I think I'm going to do another one in the near future of what I do on days when I have more time/have important things going on/want to look good for like 15 hours of the day therefore load on the makeup.
Cheerio!
You have some great products, I love the Rimmel Stay Matte powder, its great for keeping your foundation stay Matte all day.
